Cookout....

Contrary to belief..........I do things other than gardening........I do have a life other than working in my garden. We had a Luau-Cookout yesterday and I have some pictures of the setting. I was too busy hosting to take pictures of the guests that attended. Actually, it was my family and a neighbor-friend. Here are some pics that I took before the party.
(All pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them.)

The food was superb~~ too die for ribs, mashed potatoes, pineapple coleslaw, baked beans, pineapple upside down cake for dessert and pina coladas! It was a fun time and the food was awesome.
The finale--We toasted pink marshmallows in the firepit. A great finish to a great day.
"And a good time was had by all."
'Til next time, Love ya, Jean

Pineapple coleslaw---that sounds so good!! A very belated "thank you" for choosing me for a Bella Award!! That was so nice! (I actually couldn't get the award pic to download, and gave up, but am flattered to be chosen!)

What great fun!! I noticed your picture in your side bar of your Shitzu....we had an all black one her name is Panthers Black Velvet, she lives with my sister now, because we move so much (military). She is a little princess but at my sisters she is the Queen of the roost. We sure do miss her. Thanks for stopping by and following both of my blogs!!

Have a great day!

How fun!!! I had a "luau" for the First Birthday of Pink Sat. last week---if you have a chance, you might like to see it! :) You had some great decorations, too. However, your idea of toast PINK marshmallows--brilliant!!
