Red...

I love my little section of red here......

Speaking of red...

We have been making pizzas!  I have been on a low carb diet lately due to high blood sugar.  I found these low carb tortillas that have a lot of fiber in them.  The net carbs are 6 for one tortilla.  That's very low.  So,  in order to enjoy pizza,  we are using the Low Carb Tortillas for the crust.  Turns out they are delicious!  We don't miss the traditional crust at all.  This picture is the before they are baked.  I took one after they were baked,  but the battery was dead on my camera and the picture didn't come out!  Trust me,  they look really good once baked.
Now,  here's how to do it...
Take a tortilla,  put some tomato sauce on it,  put some meat and veggies,  whatever you like,  top with some cheese.  Bake at 400 degrees for  about 10 min,  and you will have a delicious treat!  Serve this with a nice big salad and you will have a
nice little low carb meal.
Enjoy!

I've been sewing a lot.  We are getting another snow storm today,  as many of you are,  so I will be finishing up on some projects I have been working on.  Stay turned... I'll be showing them soon.

'Til next time.
Love ya,  Jean

Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving a nice comment. My hairdresser cut all carbs and sugar and dropped 55 pounds but although I'd like to lose weight I'd prefer to look for alternatives. Your suggestion of using tortilla wraps would be perfect as I like a very thin crust anyway.
