New sewing/craft room...

I took a class recently to make a
quarter scale sewing/craft room...

This was a challenge for me,
as this is the first 1/4 scale project that I've done.

I really enjoyed this class
and making this little room...

3 3/4" long x 2 1/2" high x 2 1/2" deep...

If only my craft room looked this neat...
see background?

My Garden...

(If you click on the pictures, it makes them bigger and more beautiful.)

My garden has evolved into layers...
          Above...Hosta, White
Bleeding Hearts and Columbine...

A blue haze of Forget-Me-Nots, with some Bergenia for accent...

Coral Bells  Caramel... with Hosta
and Forget-Me-Nots...

Salvia,~~Blue Knight, Forget-Me-Nots
and Autumn Joy Sedum...

Allium,  Forget-Me-Not
among Campanula...

                                     A small bearded Iris
in the middle of a Euonomys bush...
Azalea, Columbine, there's a rose bush in there, and a peony...

Hosta among pachysandra
and some wild violets...

Salvia in front of Red Barberry...

Purple Iris in with some wild Daisies and White Salvia...

It seems as my garden matures,  plants seem to pop up in unexpected places.  And  as they mature they are more beautiful than the year before.

My Garden....  Maturing  along with me...   haha

Spring has sprung...

In the last two weeks or so:  I have had a Birthday, and celebrated some other family members birthdays...  DBF put this cake together for us!
We had some Birthday Blast ice cream with it...   mmmmmm,  so good!

Went to the botanical garden and saw 25,000 tulips in their fields...  See below.  The picture doesn't do them justice at all!  It was so beautiful!  I wanted to stay all day!
There were plain yellow daffodils,  too!

Have seen little Great Grandson many times.  He is trying to figure out what's on his head, (Daddy's hat).  He is 3 months old today,  already!

I changed my browser the other day,  so things are a little different now.  So,  I'm trying this post for the first time since I changed.  Most things are the same, except for enlarging the pictures.  I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

What time is it?...

I put this Grandfather clock together from a kit that my BFF gave to me.  It was supposed to go in a room setting (a large book) that I made at a workshop that I attended about a year ago.  Unfortunately,  it is too tall and does not look right.  I love how it came out,  so I am using it in a colonial dollhouse that I have.  It's perfect for that house.

Thanks,  Lady Jane, I am very happy with the clock and now my dollhouse residents will know what time it is...    :)

So,  I will have to make something else to put in there (the book), and I will show that when it's totally done.
