Baby Quilts...

I sewed some more baby quilts this week.

For those who don't know,  these are kits that I put together.

They are donated by Wayside Sewing store to

Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.

They are given to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit 

for premature babies.

Each baby gets one to take home.

This is a worthwhile project and

I really enjoy making them.

The colors are off a little,  but you get the idea!

Spring flowers...

Well,  Spring is finally here.  

But, it has been on the chilly side.

Today is 50 degrees and rainy,  

making it feel very cold and damp.

I do have some flowers blooming though.  

They are a welcome sight, 

after a long and dreary winter.

Here are a few...

My pond filter liner sprung a leak,
so now it is a planter.
I didn't want to let it go to the recycle bin.
I planted daffodils, pansies, parsley,
cilantro and dill in it.

Hyacinths that have reseeded...

Hellebores,  also known as Lenten Rose...

I love the upright flowers on this one...

 More Hyacinths...

These are Grape Hyacinths...I love these.  They make beautiful mounds of purple,
and they multiply quickly.

So, I have a wonderful week ahead of me, as I travel to Disney World.  I understand that it is very hot there,  like 95 degrees yesterday.  I hope it's not too much of a shock on this old body of mine!  But to me, I think it'll feel pretty good!
I hope so.
