More Goodness.....

This is what I did on my day off on Monday......
It was a cold, snowy day here in New England, a perfect day for staying home and doing some baking.

I made my favorite banana bread recipe. This time I added blueberries and walnuts. Again, I have to say, "this is delicious". It seems that no matter what I add to this recipe, it is still delicious. I have made this many, many times and added so many different ingredients, and I am still amazed that it always comes out delicious. You can get the recipe here.
Does this look yummy or what? Crispy on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside. (And heavenly, mmmmm)

Here it is on my Homer Laughlin "Eggshell Theme" platter.

Perfect with some butter spread on it, and a nice cup of tea..... The perfect combination!

This is a recipe from "scratch" and it does take some extra time to put it all together, but I can assure you that the few extra minutes are well worth it.
'Til next time, Love ya, Jean

G'morn, Jean ~ Don't you just love to find a good recipe & then know that it is versatile to work with. Will give this one a spin when I can eat better.

TY for your sweet notes, I am doing much better daily now.

Have a beautiful day ~

Hello Jean, it looks scumptious and I will definitely give it a try! I love to have fruit scones at teatime, with butter and jam, but this might be a yummy alternative!
Thanks for your lovely comment about my Ann and Andy cushion, and for sharing this recipe as well!
