Baby Quilts...

It's been rainy, cold and/or  windy off and on the last few days...

not good for gardening...

so, I've been sewing...

completed these four little charity quilts...

I just love their bright, cheerful colors!

A test...

This is just a "test" post.  I'm trying out the "new "  blogger...

~~I've been diggin' in the dirt all week, trying to get the weeds out, so that I can put some mulch in the beds.  Hopefully, that will suppress the weeds.  I have lots of sore muscles, it is raining for the next week, so it will give me time to heal.  lol  I'm happy about the rain, we really need it badly!

~~I had a visit from my BFF and her hubby on Wednesday.  Went to lunch and had a great visit.  LJ has gotten her new puter up and running, so you will see her around now.  You can visit her at http://ourcozyabode.blogspot.com/ for her latest news.

I sewed 4 more baby quilts last week, turned those in and picked up 4 more to sew.  That will give me something to do while I'm stuck in the house this week.

Spring has sprung...

The spring flowers are blooming.....

 and it is 90 degrees outside today! 

I waited all winter for it to warm up, but this is rediculous! 

My spring bulbs are beautiful this year... some of the tulips fell apart today with the heat, but here are some that survived.

                            

The ones below are new this year. 
 I've been revamping my perennial beds, getting the weeds out,
 and adding some variety to them.

I also added some Shasta Daisies,
and I've seen a lot of others that I need...
I hope my back holds out until
I get all of these in the ground.  lol

I made two more baby quilts yesterday...



These were made with fabric from my own stash...
I will be taking these to the fabric store today, 
and exchanging them for some kits to sew.
