Hello Jean~hopping in to wish you a wonderful Easter. I'm always flooded with memories of wearing fluffy dresses and petticoats with fluffy hair to match. As a young adult one memory stands out in my mind. On one occasion when I couldn't be home for Easter my mom sent me an Easter box, which included dyed eggs...I refer to them as "died" Easter eggs. Snail mail produced a box accompanied with a foul odor. I still laugh hysterically when I think about the stink bomb going off when it was opened. Fortunately I was able to rescue the remaining treats from my box.
Getting these small glimpses of spring has me craving a weather change.
I'm more than ready to welcome a fresh season of color.
I am a mother to two daughters, and I am blessed to have 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I grew up in a large family, having 4 brothers and 6 sisters. My greatest love is gardening and I do that about 9 months out of the year. I also love to decorate cakes and have made many cakes for my family. I love to craft things and always have something in the works. So many things to do and so little time!
