Potholders

I made some potholders yesterday.
We needed some new ones.
I'm trying to put my time to good use,
being that we are snowed in
and I can't garden,
 or do much of anything outdoors.  haha

I figure that if I keep real busy,
the time will fly by real fast,
and it'll be Spring before we know it!

Snow pics...

97" + THIS WINTER...

Here are a few pics of my snowy world...

It is going to take a long time for this to go away.  

Hubby has shoveled off roof 4 times 

and today he was up there for about 4 hours,  

breaking up the ice dams. 

My neighbors are worse off than we are...

One had his water main break somewhere in his yard,  and is hooked up to my house for water.  

Another had his sewer pipe break,  also in his yard.

So this morning,  a crew came,  

moved all the snow to another place in their yard,  

dug up the old pipe and replaced it with a new one.  

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this doesn't happen to us. 

That's a 6 ft fence back there.

We have a track for Dusty,  otherwise we might lose him....

White,  white everywhere...

This is my Amaryllis.  It rebloomed from last year. 

My Orchid... also from last year.

These help a little.  Can't wait for Spring!
