My sewing machines are getting a workout...

Some of my sewing "goodies"
that I have worked on over the last few weeks...

This one is a mug rug for my niece...
She loves the movie "Elf"...

This is a placemat for my 4 year old great niece...
She loves the movie "Frozen"...

The other side...
this was a lot of fun to make...
I used one fat quarter and some other fabric
from my stash...

This is a pre-quilted panel that my cousin donated to me.
I put the binding on it,  sew easy.
I love the back of it with the baby characters!
SEW CUTE!

I have some others I will show on the next post.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas,  I did,  for sure.  Had my family over for dinner,  which was wonderful,  and afterwards,  we did a Yankee Swap for presents this year.  Then we did the Saran Wrap Ball game.  That was really fun!  So we had a very nice,  memorable day and everyone was very happy!

I am now looking forward to the new year
to see how much I can accomplish!

Mug Rugs...

I've been sewing a lot lately...
I made this mug rug for my sister for her Birthday...
She loves and collects  lighthouses...

I think she will like this and use it,
and she will think of me when she does!

I have made more,  but I can't show them all
because some other recipients may see them.

This is in the mail
and she should receive it tomorrow.
I hope she likes it!

Baby Quilts...

I made a few more baby quilts.

These will go to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU),  at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.  Wayside Sewing in Marlboro, MA sponsors this program and have donated supplies for thousands of these little quilts.  They are to be commended for the hard work and commitment to this wonderful program.  And kudos to all the sewists who have made this all possible.  You are all the best!

They call this kind a string quilt.
I use some of the scraps from the other
little quilts that I make.

I actually showed this one in a previous post...

Another version of the first one...

These are so much fun to make and I love all the bright colors.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will come back soon.
