I fixed her hair...
A big improvement over what it was...
I'm working on her clothes and I'm not quite done yet. I decided to make her look like she was originally. Some things will be substituted as they are really hard to find. Her shoes, for instance. Saddle oxfords...
More pics to come as I make some progress...
'Til next time,
Love ya, Jean

I'm so happy to see the progress you're making on the doll. She appears to be in really good condition. I ordered tennis shoes for my American Girl doll from Amazon, but I don't know if you could find saddle oxfords there. Isn't it fun to sew for these dolls!
Thanks for your encouraging comments on my "resting" blog.
She is beautiful!!! Cant wait to see her dressed. love ya, lj
She is cute!Hugs!
Hi Jean, she looks so different now,you did a great job with her hair, she looks fantastic, well done my friend xx
I am glad that you are restoring her to how she looked originally. You did a wonderful job on her hair. However, I must confess that I thought she was adorable just as she was when you brought her home. :~) I keep thinking I will make a little peasant girl with ratty hair and a patched dress.
She looks familiar. I think I know her from somewhere.
