Microwave cozies...

What is this?  you ask...

It is a Microwave Cozy~~

You know how when you take a bowl of stuff from the microwave oven and it is so hot you can't touch it?  This solves the problem!  You actually put your bowl of food in here
before you start heating it.
When it all comes out,  it's your pot holder...
err...bowl holder~ haha

Clever?  I think so!

This is the only one I have made so far--  but I plan on making more in the future.

This protects your hands from getting burned by the hot bowl.

There is a great tutorial on how to make this HERE.  I want to give credit to Karen of Syzygy of Me for producing the tute.

They can be sized to fit your bowls.  I also saw that my little glass teapot fits into it just right, so I'll use it to keep my tea warm,  also.

This is a fun little project that is easy and quick to make.  A set of these would make a great gift.  It does have some limitations though.  Please read all the instructions before starting to make this.

I hope you enjoy making this microwave cozy.  It is practical and cute at the same time!

Dessert...

This was me...
stuffing myself with goodies since Christmas.

I swear,  after the holidays,
I will get back on track!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as I did.  My whole family was here for dinner and the presents and it was a wonderful time for all!  Now I am looking forward to winter, and the New Year!  I have lots of ideas for things that I would like to do.
