Cut them up into pieces and cook them for about 5 minutes.........
Use this gadget. It's called a Foley Food Mill. It separates the skins from the fruit. It makes instant applesauce. Here is what it looks like..............
Here is the finished product............
I'll tuck it away and we'll have it this winter. Yum, so good!
We traveled to North georgia for a long weekend and the apples were everywhere. We came home with 20lbs! I have been trying to come up with ways to use my bounty. This is an excellent idea! Thanks,
Yummm...Applesauce...I think I can do this..... I know you can do a slipcover project....let me know when you start....I will be there to cheer you on... Hugs, Mo ;-)
Boy, that looks so much easier than the way I used to make applesauce! Thanks for visiting my blog - I haven't "seen" you in awhile. Hope all is well! Hugs, Cathy
I am a mother to two daughters, and I am blessed to have 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I grew up in a large family, having 4 brothers and 6 sisters. My greatest love is gardening and I do that about 9 months out of the year. I also love to decorate cakes and have made many cakes for my family. I love to craft things and always have something in the works. So many things to do and so little time!

All that applesauce would look beautiful just setting on the shelf. But it will be so yummy for dinner. Thanks for sharing.

I've never heard of that gadget before. That would be a great thing for my middle daughter, who LOVES making applesauce.
