Happy Thanksgiving!

I am wishing you the very best
Thanksgiving that you have ever had...

The turkey will be waiting...

And lots of appetizers,  too!
(and desserts,  don't forget the desserts!)
And of course,
all the traditional dishes that go along with it!
I am so thankful for the all that I have
and I am wishing the best for you,  too!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

'Til next time,
Love ya,  Jean

Poppy Fashion Show...

I may have shown some
of these pieces previously.
If so,  please bear with me...

Today,  Poppy has decided to show you
some of her sweater sets...

I recently purchased the
Headwarmer pattern
 also.

The pattern was so easy to follow
and it worked up very quickly.

This set is not quite finished yet.
It still needs buttons,  decorations,
and needs to be blocked to make it lie flat.
I made the hat on my own.

This set needs buttons and blocking.

I made this red dress below last winter.
 I found the pattern online,
but I don't know who created it.
I made the hat on my own.

This is a pattern that I followed
for a newborn preemie baby.
It is so small,  I think it will become
 a Christmas Tree ornament!
Sure is cute!

I hope you liked Poppy's new clothing.
Oh,  and Poppy is a 13" Maru and Friends Doll.
I have another on preorder.  Her name is Chloe and
I am patiently waiting for her to arrive.
So Poppy will have a new sister
and friend.  She is supposed to arrive
around Thanksgiving.  Can't wait!

That's all for today.

Until next time,  Love ya,  Jean

Another scrappy lap quilt...

Halloween actually turned out okay here. We had the threat of EEE virus and they said if we didn't get a killing frost that would kill the mosquitoes,  Halloween would be cancelled.  We didn't get the frost but, we had rain for a whole week. The rain did let up on Halloween evening for a few hours,  so the kids were out in full force.  Because of the rain,  we didn't do our regular thing with the decorations and all.  It was disappointing for us,  but hopefully we will be able to do it next year.

Now that Halloween is over,  I did a little sewing.  I actually made this string quilt a while back.  I didn't like the sashing I had used on it.  I ripped that off  and used a different fabric on it.  I like it now and will see if any of the family wants it or if I'll donate it.  I love making these little lap quilts.  They go pretty fast and I can use up some of my scraps that I get from some of my other sewing projects.

I love all the bright colors of these Scrappy string quilts.

Somehow,  my stash of fabrics never goes down though,  but I am working on it!  haha

That's it for today,  so...

'Til next time,  Love ya,  Jean
