- I am a mother to two daughters, and I am blessed to have 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I grew up in a large family, having 4 brothers and 6 sisters. My greatest love is gardening and I do that about 9 months out of the year. I also love to decorate cakes and have made many cakes for my family. I love to craft things and always have something in the works. So many things to do and so little time!

We've had a few days of sunshine...finally! I don't even mind having allergies in exchange for flowers. Winter was way too long this year. Unfortunately the sunshine will be short lived, it looks like we're heading back to rain soon. Oh well, "April showers bring May flowers."

Hope it's warming up there! It's been in the 90's, yikes! Lots of swimming and playing outside already. Supposed to cool down to the 70's this weekend though. Love your spring flowers peeking through the ground! Happy spring!!!
