There are now 5 blossoms open!

Every one of them is just as beautiful as the others!

I did pollinate 2 of the flowers. Below shows the pistil (female part at the bottom) and the stamens (the male parts that has the pollen on them).

Hopefully, the pollination will take and I will get some seeds from this beauty. It takes about a month or so to get seeds. I'll keep you updated.

Hi Jean, Thank you for stopping by...those amaryllis are just beautiful! Mine didn't come up this last Christmas or even as yet - leaves, but no blooms! All new computers come with Windows Vista now...just ANOTHER new program to learn! YUK! I need to sit down still and figure things out - its such a pain! Why do they change things so often? I guess the younger crowd is used to it (but not me!) Have a great week!
