"What the heck is this?" you say...
Well, I've been doing some painting lately...
I like to vary things around here,
just to keep from getting bored
by doing the same thing all the time...
These are the little legs on a riser that I use
when I am displaying some of my collections.
and this is the top of the riser (below)...
I used the ModPodge method
of transferring the beehive to the top of it.
I got the picture from The Graphics Fairy...
This is the before shot of the riser (below)...
I used chalk paint, clear wax and antique wax
to add highlights and interest to the piece.
I really like how it came out.
I am working on some other pieces
and will show them soon.
and will show them soon.
So for now, I need to get busy, so
'Til next time, Love ya, Jean

I love it too. The chalk paint and wax finishes give it such a wonderful old look. Thanks for sharing this!
Love.
Thanks Ladies!
To hit a baseball on a line,Play Bazaar make sure to keep your swing level. If you send your bat in an uppercut at the ball, you are much more likely to pop the ball up, making it easy for an outfielder to catch. A level swing produces a line drive, which is much more likely to produce a base hit.Satta King
